The Endless Immensity is my experimental fiction laboratory, a particle accelerator in which I take thoughts and ideas, smash them together at near-lightspeed, and see what comes out.
What will you find here? The things that pop up frequently surprise me as much as anyone, but I expect the bulk of the content will consist of flash fiction pieces and poetry, as well as some creative meditations, character vignettes, and probably the occasional roleplaying game-related anecdote (“Let me tell you about my character…”). So if you are a connoisseur of the fantastic, of cutting new worlds and universes out of whole cloth and populating them with personalities and creatures that surpass life itself, you should stay a while and listen… er, read.
Who are you, anyway, and what do you know about anything?
Good question! Endless Immensity is written and produced by yours truly, Andreas Kjeldsen. (Hi!) I am an historian with degrees from the Universities of Copenhagen (BA in History) and York (MA in Medieval History), and courses in English and EU law from King’s College London. I work as a freelance translator (English and Danish) and writer under the auspices of my company Scripturus.eu.
In addition to Endless Immensity, I semi-maintain another blog called Facts & Norms with insanely long and complicated analyses of politics and jurisprudence in the European Union, so if that is just your ‘thing’, check that out as well. Facts & Norms also has a section with my more professionally-oriented non-fiction writings, if any of those subjects hold your interest.
Found your blog by looking up the famous quote from Antoine de Saint Exupéry, it’s one of my favorite quotes.
